Внутреннее убранство Каньона отражает те же темы, что и снаружи: полезность, прежде чем красивость. Кабина начинает выглядеть устаревшей, но, когда ты находишься за рулём, все легко встаёт на свои места. Всё просто, понятно, и управлять этой махиной довольно легко и комфортно.

Самым приятным сюрпризом интерьера Каньона является то, что он определённо похож на автомобиль, а не на грузовик. У всех комплектаций спортивные ковшеобразные сиденья. Внешний вид приборной панели довольно простой, но он также больше ориентирован на автомобили и кроссоверы, чем на полноразмерные грузовики.

Модели с расширенной кабиной не большие по площади, но достаточно большие для двух человек сзади. Сиденья могут быть обиты чем угодно, от винила до кожи, они удобны и хорошо поддерживают независимо от выбора материала. Сиденье водителя с электроприводом входит в стандартную комплектацию даже в комплектации SL.

Грузовики с расширенной кабиной технически имеют два задних сиденья, но их лучше всего использовать в качестве места для хранения из-за нехватки места для ног. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The Canyon’s interior design is high on function and low on flash. It features an upright instrument panel layout and controls that are easy to reach and read. Unfortunately, the center console is burdened by a jumbo shifter. Plastic toggle switches for accessory equipment on the center stack are handy and accessible, but they look cheap in pricier trim levels as with the Denali we tested. Therein lies our biggest complaint about the Canyon’s interior: even in Denali trim, it never feels like a premium environment. Its front seat is wonderfully spacious. However, the back seat has limited legroom. The elevated rear-seating position improves comfort, but three adults will be squished on long trips. The Canyon may not have as much room for carrying suitcases inside the cab, but it has the most cargo-bed volume and significantly more space for smaller items than its rivals. Its deep center-console bin, multiple door pockets, and other miscellaneous storage spots throughout the cabin provide refuge for an assortment of loose items. For items that take up a lot of space, there’s a giant plastic bin under the rear seat (only on the crew cab).

The four-spoke steering wheel is multifunctional and comes with buttons for various controls. If you opt for the AT4 Cloth trim, you get fabric upholstery, and if you choose the AT4 Leather option, you get leather upholstery with Kalahari accents on the seats. There are a couple of cup holders beside the seats and another storage space in front of the gear lever, but that’s about it.

There isn’t a lot of tech wizardry in here either. Behind the steering wheel is a two-dial, analog-digital instrument cluster. In the AT4 Cloth model, the screen here is a 3.5-inch monochromatic display, whereas the AT4 comes with a 4.2-inch color display. The Leather model also comes with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay. Wireless charging is also available as standard on the AT4 Leather, but is optional on the AT4 Cloth trim. Other features include:

How Spacious Is The Canyon?

In the first row, the GMC Canyon offers headroom of 41.4 inches, legroom of 45 inches, shoulder room of 57.5 inches, and hip room of 55 inches. The Frontier and Tacoma offer a headroom of 39.7 inches each, legroom of 42.4 and 42.9 inches, shoulder room of 58.3 inches each, and hip room of 55.8- and 57.2 inches, respectively.

In the second row, the Canyon offers a headroom of 38.3 inches and massive legroom of and 35.8 inches. In comparison, the Frontier and the Tacoma offer 36.6- and 25.4 inches, and 34.9- and 24.6 inches, of headroom and legroom respectively. As for the shoulder room and hip room, the Canyon offers 56.2- and 53.3 inches, the Frontier offers 54.9- and 55 inches, and the Tacoma offers 56.5- and 51.7 inches. Quite a mixed bag this, since every truck holds the fort in some or the other aspect. However, it must be noted that despite being the smallest truck off the lot, the Frontier is able to give stiff competition to its rivals in terms of interior space.

BMW 5-серии

И так автомобиль, ранее обозначаемый кодовой латинской буквой «F», меняет свое обозначение в связи с тем, что новый седан 5-серии основан на новой архитектуре. Отныне новая «пятерка» будет выпускаться под литерой «G» с цифровым кодом «30». (модель в кузове G30).

Новая модель будет официально дебютирована на автосалоне в Детройте, который пройдет в США с 8 по 22 января 2017 года. На выставке компания БМВ презентует несколько моделей 5-сериии. Так в Детройте состоится премьера, как бензиновых и дизельных версий, так и нового гибрида (модель 530Е iPerformance). Также нас ждет презентация мощной версии M550i xDrive (на фото). 

Так что до тех пор, пока к концу 2017 года компания БМВ не представит новое поколение М5, модель M550i будет самой мощной среди всех модификаций 5-серий нового поколения (мощность 462 л.с., разгон с 0-100 км/ч за 4 сек.).

Официально продажи новой БМВ 5-серии начнутся 11 февраля 2017 года. Правда с этой даты будут доступны для покупки только четыре обычных моделей (две дизельных 520d, 530d и две бензиновых 530i и 540i). Мощная же M550i поступит в продажу только в марте 2017 года.

Новое поколение 5-серии получило новый революционный дизайн, который теперь похож на новое поколение 7-серии. 

Is the GMC Canyon Better Than the Nissan Frontier?

While all eyes are set on the upcoming 2022 Frontier, Nissan is currently selling the model that’s been pretty much the same for the last 15 years. Yes, the Japanese automaker hasn’t brought in a new generation so far. It looks dated, but on the flip side, it offers the best bang for the buck. Nissan replaced the aging 4.0-liter, V-6 engine finally with a new 3.8-liter, V-6 mill that dishes out 310 horses and 281 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful truck of the lot. Power is sent to the wheels via a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The towing and payload capacities are rated at 6,620- and 1,460 pounds, which are less than both, the GMC Canyon and the Toyota Tacoma. The 2020 Frontier starts at $26,790.

Volkswagen СС

Внешность новинки порадует поклонников тонких линий и изящных форм. А дело в том, что не смотря на внешнюю схожесть с «Пассатом», СС не имеет с ним не одной общей кузовной детали. Фары стали крупнее, передний бампер приобрел более хищный вид, благодаря увеличенным воздухозаборникам и светоидиодным подфарникам.

СС можно будет заказать с тремя бензиновыми моторами, самым «слабым» из которых станет 160-сильный турбированный двигатель объемом 1,8 литра, затем следует 2,0-литровый мотор TFSI мощностью 200 л.с., а на вершине гаммы расположился 300-сильный V6 3,6 литра. Для любителей экономичного вождения немцы предложат два дизельных силовых агрегаты, оба объемом 2,0 литра мощностью 140 и 170 л.с. Крутящий момент передается на ведущие колеса через семи ступенчатую автоматическую коробку передач DSG и полноприводную трансмиссию AWD, которая доступна в качестве дополнительной опции.

Описанные модели – лишь часть огромного выставочного ассортимента.

Overview

The 2022 GMC Canyon is well suited for folks who want some of the capabilities of a full-size pickup truck but in a mid-size package. That mission starts with its sturdy body-on-frame construction, extends to its potent V-6 and torquey diesel-engine options, and culminates in a maximum tow rating of 7700 pounds. Those hoping to hit the trails will appreciate the rugged AT4 model, which includes 31-inch tires and a unique off-road suspension. Available with an extended or crew cab and two bed lengths, the Canyon is just as versatile as its corporate counterpart, the Chevrolet Colorado. However, we think the GMC version looks classier and more mature. Just prepare to overpay for the Denali’s unremarkable interior and notable lack of high-tech assists. Still, the 2022 Canyon will satisfy anyone who wants a smaller, more affordable alternative to the half-ton GMC Sierra.

Дизайнеры и конструкторы просто взяли новую А5 в кузове купе и не ее базе создали кабриолет нового поколения. 

Компания Ауди решила, что даже базовая версия кабриолета А5 должна оснащаться не маломощным мотором. Например, самая дешевая модификация будет оснащаться 190-сильным двигателем. 

Кроме того, Немецкая компания не забыла и о тех поклонниках Ауди, которые любят мощные кабриолеты на базе А5.

Так планируется, что в США состоится дебют S5 в кузове кабриолет мощностью 354 л.с., максимальная скорость которой составляет 250 км/ч (ограничена электроникой). 

Продажа новых кабриолетов А4 и S начнутся в марте 2017 года.

Toyota Venza

Новинку, показанную на автосалоне в Детройте, сама Toyota называет кроссовером-седаном.

Как говорится в пресс-релизе, Toyota Venza совмещает в себе утонченность седана и практичность кроссовера. Автомобиль может комплектоваться как передним, так и полным приводом. Is the GMC Canyon Good for Off-Roading?

Until now, the company offered an ‘All-Terrain’ trim on the Canyon that was its go-to off-road trim in the Canyon lineup. However, it wasn’t very successful and the sales volume gradually decreased over the years, which prompted GMC to introduce the better-accomplished ‘AT4’ trim here. The AT4 trim is trickled down from the GMC Sierra truck and it is more than just a name-sake off-roader.

The AT4 model is benefitted from aesthetic advantages like a bigger grille and dark chrome finish on the face instead of the bling. On the inside, it is pretty much the same as the other trims, except for the Kalahari accents on the seats and the ‘AT4’ logo embroidered in the headrests. This pattern is exclusive only to the AT4 trim. Apart from this, Bose audio system is also offered.

The features that make it worthy enough to confidently take it off the roads include 17-inch wheels wrapped in 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, skid plate to protect the transfer case, red tow hooks, a four-wheel-drive system, Advanced Hill Descent Control, off-road-tuned suspension, Eaton G80 rear automatic locking differential, and a two-speed AutoTrac transfer case.
